I got to skip the second grade (because my grandmother didn’t get along with any of the second-grade teachers at my school. Isn’t that funny?)

- What do you think is special about GnoKids compared to other kids English schools?グノキッズが他の学校に比べて、特別だと思うところはどのようなところですか？
- I have worked at other Eikaiwa before, and I think what sets Gnokids apart from other English schools is how much the teachers and other staff members care about the students and their language-learning journey. At Gnokids, we put a lot of effort into preparing enjoyable lessons for our students, and we try our hardest to help each student reach their full potential.
- What is most important to you when teaching children?アリス先生にとって、お子さまを教えるときに最も重要なことはどのようなことですか？
- The most important thing for me in my classes is that the students are smiling and having fun. If students enjoy their English lessons, they will naturally feel much more motivated to work through the challenges they encounter.
- What do you think has helped your students improve the most?アリス先生にとって、どのようなことが一番お子さまの成長の助けになっていると思いますか？
- I think that listening to my students and paying attention to their individual needs has helped them improve the most. Not every teaching strategy works for everyone, so it’s important to take each student into consideration when planning a lesson.
- If you had an extra hour in the day what would you do?1日が25時間だったら、その1時間で何をしますか？
- I would spend my extra hour a day filling up my sketchbook!
- Where are your favorite places in Japan?日本のお気に入りの場所はどこですか？
- I haven’t traveled much in Japan, but my favorite place I’ve been to is Noboribetsu, the hot spring town in Hokkaido.
- What’s your favorite children’s book?お子さま向けの本の中で、何が一番好きですか？
- My favorite children’s book is Blue Eyes by Karen Wallace and Bee Willey. The illustrations are really beautiful, and I loved the story when I was a child myself.
- What do you miss most about Germany?南アフリカで一番恋しいものは何ですか?
- I miss my mom, my dogs and my favorite ice cream store.
