I love cooking and am obsessed with mayonnaise. Even though I’m a good cook, I’ve never made my own mayo from scratch—it’s next on my bucket list!
料理が大好きで、マヨネーズには目がありません。料理は得意なのですが、実はまだマヨネーズをゼロから作ったことがないので、今度ぜひ挑戦してみたいです！
I love karaoke, and my absolute go-to song is ‘Matsuken Samba II’! I also love insects, so if you ever have any questions about bugs, feel free to ask me anytime!

- What do you think is special about GnoKids compared to other kids English schools?グノキッズが他の学校に比べて、特別だと思うところはどのようなところですか？
- I think GnoKids is different from other English schools because the classrooms are more lighthearted and fun, with a real emphasis on ensuring the lessons are enjoyable for the students so they can go home with a smile on their faces and are motivated to learn English.
- What is most important to you when teaching children?ロイ先生にとって、お子さまを教えるときに最も重要なことはどのようなことですか？
- I think the most important thing when teaching children is ensuring the lessons are fun, yet educational, so they remember them after they have left the classroom. This allows them to use the English they have learned later in their education or life.
- What do you think has helped your students improve the most?ロイ先生にとって、どのようなことが一番お子さまの成長の助けになっていると思いますか？
- I think what has helped my students improve the most is that they have fun and have a chance to figure things out for themselves with a little bit of encouragement. I think the feeling that students get when they understand something motivates them to keep improving.
- What are your hobbies?趣味は何ですか？
- I like playing Pokémon GO in my free time and on my days off. I play Pokémon GO every day. I always participate in in-game events and go out of my way to catch Pokémon that are considered rare.
- What do you miss about the UK?イギリスのどんなところが恋しいですか？
- I miss good fish and chips and a hearty kebab with garlic mayo. You can get both of these in Japan, but it’s just not the same.
- What are your favorite places in Japan?日本で好きな場所はどこですか？
- I like Matsuyama in Ehime Prefecture and the Book Off in Minami-Funabashi.
